When I last posted, I was in the midst of packing to move. The grand move is over and I am sad to report I haven’t be to my work bench yet. BUT… with the new year comes my renewed desire to get back at my project. So with that, I’ll be posting more very soon.

Here is a quick update for some old photos. The news one are still on my camera. At this point I was still working in layers to add the colors I wanted for my brick. All together there is seven layers of paint on the market.
I started by base coating the building with a light tan acrylic. Over the past few weeks I have built up layers of the various colors to create a nice brink texture leaving the painting of the mortar as the last thing before I take on the window frames. I ordered a good grade of charcoal stick from an art store that I knew would give me the best shading. I’ll be posting pictures very soon.
